PLEASE NOTE: 19th Dec 2011

We have been tapped out with our chain stocks, absolutely hammered. Basically run out of most short links until the next container arrives early January.

Nervousness about product from a eastern country has seen demand well above what was anticipated.

Stocks should be all good again around Jan 12th, shipping companies willing.

Are all chains created equal?

Sure many do look very similar and many would like you to think they are but this photo would suggest otherwise. The boats onwer knows exactly what each chain was, from where and when. Understandably he is not a happy chappy.

The chain on the left was made by the Maggi Group in Italy.

The joiner by Crosby in Canada

The chain on the right was made in China and was sold as being 'equal in quality as the Maggi chains'. It appears that statement was a tad wrong.

Someone either doesn't know the products they sell or was just telling porkies. Are you talking to that same person?
